A viral TikTok chocolate has taken Glasgow by storm, leading to sold-out shelves and queues around the corner at a local café.

The “Dubai Chocolate” has gained internet fame for its unique look, taste, and exclusivity. Originally produced and sold only in Dubai, this pistachio-filled, creamy, and crunchy treat has sparked a global frenzy.

Rude Cookies Café in Shawlands, Glasgow, is one of the rare places to replicate this chocolate sensation. Co-owner Magda Lo Bianco started making the chocolate three months ago, and it sold out immediately on the first day. Since then, every Saturday, she delivers 200 bars to the café, and they sell out within a day.

Magda, who has a self-described “pistachio obsession,” initially made the chocolate for herself but was stunned by its popularity. The demand is so high that people line up outside the café, with some waiting for extra-large bars sold online.

Magda explains, “Every Saturday, there’s a long queue. One week, it went out the shop, along the street, and around the corner. It’s madness, bringing in so many new customers. Every day, people message us asking for more.”

Despite the high price of £65 for a kilogram bar, customers are willing to wait. “It’s controversial because people think it’s expensive, but the process and ingredients are costly, so most people understand,” says Magda.
